Inzetstaal is a collective term for steel types with a carbon content of max 0.25%, which, through induction hardening (annealing), acquire a hard and wear-resistant surface after processing. Components that are subject to wear, such as gears, worm gears, racks and similar applications, are often made from these materials.
In order to achieve a more even hardening process, a special refinement of the base material can be chosen in some cases:
+FP | Ferrite / pearlite annealed |
+TH | Annealing to a certain hardness / tensile strength |
Doing business with the steel producer without intermediaries. The chance of making mistakes decreases as there are fewer links in the chain.
Why pay extra for storage and handling when it can be delivered directly? Avoid unnecessary costs in the metal chain and start saving today.
Jominy monitors the entire purchase process from request to payment follow-up. This way, you are completely taken care of.
